Actor William Francis McGuire (Bill to his friends) is originally from New York. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Queens until he was eight when his family headed to the wilds of Blauvelt, NY, a small town just outside the city.

He returned to New York City to attend New York University where he received his BFA in acting. He later received his MFA in acting from Yale School of Drama. In between he trained with some wonderful teachers in New York including Bill Esper, Tim Phillips, and Eleanor Basescu.

He’s worked in theatres all over the country, including four years as a company member at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis as well as the Shakespeare Theatre in Washington DC, American Repertory Theatre in Boston and South Coast Rep in Los Angeles, among others. He now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son and works in film, television, and theatre.
